Digital File FAQs

What is a digital download?

After purchasing a digital download, a zip file containing the images in various aspect ratios will be sent directly to you via email to download and enjoy! Our digital downloads can be printed or used on devices such as the Samsung Frame TV.

Where can I print my artwork?

Your digital download can be printed in a number of ways for varying price points! A few options are: Walgreens, Costco, FedEx, Kinkos, Staples, local printers, Frame it Easy, Nations Photo Lab, and Framebridge.

Which file should I use to print my artwork?

When you purchase a digital download you will receive a zip file with the images saved in 2:3, 4:5 ratios and when applicable, a 16:9 ratio. The aspect ratio refers to the height and width ratio of an image. Using the correct aspect ratio when printing digital art will allow you to print the piece without cropping or resizing.

Use the guide below to decide which file you should use for the print size of your choosing:

2:3: 4x6, 5x7, 12x18, 20x30, 24x36

4:5:  8x10, 11x14, 16x20

16:9: To be used on the Samsung Frame TV or when printing artwork long and narrow. See the 'Long Landscape' highlight story on the @Collectionprints Instagram account for more details on how to use this ratio.

For more information on aspect ratios and sizing watch the 'Size Guide' highlight story on the @Collectionprints Instagram account.
